Bob Sitnick | Treasurer
Bob Sitnick is a founding member of the DC Food and Beverage Collective and is currently serving as it’s treasurer. Bob attended the University of Maryland. He was a charter member of The AIWF National Capital Area Chapter and was instrumental in organizing the steering committee to reactivate the chapter in 1990. He has been a member of the board of directors since 1991, serving as chapter treasurer since that time. He is also a member of the Kansas City Barbecue Society, and is a certified KCBS master judge. Having judges over 160 BBQ contests. Bob and his wife, Dana, former award winning editor of the AIWF newsletter are food and wine enthusiasts.
Larry Willett | Secretary
Larry Willett has been with the DC Food and Beverage Collective and one of the founding board members since its inception in 2016. He was also on the board of the AIWF. Larry is currently the Director for Independent Living at Brooke Grove Retirement Village, where he began working in 2009. “Excellent service every time” is the motto at Westbrooke Clubhouse (where independent living residents dine) and sums up Larry and his team’s commitment to the residents of Brooke Grove. Prior to Brooke Grove, he worked at Todd Gray’s Equinox and Gregory Hill’s David Greggory in downtown DC. Larry also spent time as an editor and productions manager. He loves food and drink, and spending time in the kitchen.
Allison Drewno, PsyD | Co-Chair
Allison Drewno is a founding member of DC Food & Beverage Collective and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors. A graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, Allison worked in the hospitality industry for several years before pursuing a career in clinical psychology. She earned a Masters degree at the New School for Social Research and a doctorate at the American School of Professional Psychology. Allison recently completed a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical and forensic psychology at Saint Elizabeths Hospital and is preparing for licensure. When she is not working in clinical and forensic psychology, Allison enjoys remaining active in the restaurant community through DCFBC and her husband Scott Drewno of ChiKo/Fried Rice Collective hospitality group.
Timothy Long | Board Member
Timothy Long owns a Management Consulting Business, Belmar Innovations LLC, in Alexandria, VA. Tim has a BSBA from West Virginia University and an MBA from Averett University. Tim is the President of the Santa Claus Yacht Club (SCYC) in Alexandria, VA. The SCYC helps families in need in the local community. Tim also has prior charity experience thru Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Friends United for Need, and the Planet Hollywood Ambassador Program.
Lesley Uhr | Co-Chair
Lesley has been a DCFBC Board member for almost a year-and-a-half and has been a member of the organization since its inception in 2016. She moved to Washington D.C. over ten years ago to attend The George Washington University Law School for a Masters in Law and has enjoyed working in DC since finishing her course work. Lesley has enjoyed seeing the city’s food and beverage scene transform over the last 5-7 years. In addition, she has loved the opportunity to be part of an organization where individuals can learn about food and wine and also provide charitable support to the surrounding community. Prior to moving to the DMV area, Lesley received her Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law (formerly known as Hamline University School of Law) located in St. Paul, Minnesota and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois.
