Our sparkling wine tasting event at Maxwell Park on June 3rd was a success! With 31 attendees, it was a sell-out crowd! We had a nice mixture of DCFBC members as well as newcomers.
We tasted 6 delicious and unusual wines and enjoyed light appetizers that complimented the wines nicely. A magnum of Grand Cru Mailly Champagne was raffled off (to guest Nadyne), as were two sabering lessons with Sommelier Brent Kroll. After receiving their lessons on the restaurant’s patio, Paul and Lesley performed their sabering tasks winningly!
Brent was pleased with the way things went and is looking forward to planning another event with us. Thank you to all who attended!
